I have known Dr. Fred Webster since the early 1970's when we were graduate students at Stanford and later as founding partners of Jack Benjamin and Associates (JBA). While at JBA, Fred and I worked on numerous projects together involving applications of statistics and probability to structural engineering problems. Now with our own firms, I continue to rely on Fred's "statistical" expertise when my project requires extra manpower.
