A Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California (C28364), Fred Webster, Ph.D., P.E., has served insurance companies, law firms, utilities, governmental and educational institutions, engineering firms and individuals for the past 30 years. He has a broad range of structural analysis and design experience, in addition to an extensive background in applied probability and statistics; has taught university level classes in both structural engineering and probability theory; and has been an independent consultant since 1989. He was a partner with Jack R. Benjamin & Associates, a project engineer with Engineering Decision Analysis Company, and an Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Illinois. He established Fred Webster Associates to provide a variety of civil/structural engineering consulting services including applied probability and statistics, structural design and analysis, engineering forensic investigations, expert testimony, and evidentiary extrapolation.
